Diamond in Diamond
Diamond in Diamond is a paper piecing pattern I purchased from Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/862649218/diamond-in-diamond-foundation-paper .
I used up a bunch of scraps to make it. Love finding new scrap quilt patterns….
This is a foundation paper pieced pattern called “Book Nerd. I used William Morris print fabrics. It is quilted in a “rose texture” that reminded me of the “arts and crafts” era that William Morris prints would have been used in.
This is a “Collage” quilt – not my favorite method of making a quilt. Not crazy bout how this tuned out – but I won’t point out the “problem areas”. This is wall hanging size (36″ square). I thought is was cute – and wanted to try this technique. It is quilted – straight line – every 1/2″ (or so 🙂 ). OH – and there are a few “sparkles” added. (you can see them on the pond the best in the photo….)
Easter Baby Quilt
Isn’t this the cutest little panel? No clue where it was purchased from. I quilted this for someone. I quilted it with “Ribbons and Bows” design, to mimic the ribbons in the blue border, and I used Auriful thread.
